Exams

The GER/CEFR certificate measures your proficiency in the German language according to the Common European Framework of Reference. It ranges from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient) and is used to assess listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.

Yes, the GER/CEFR exam can be taken online. It is an in-house exam that follows the CEFR guidelines and is structured similarly to TELC or Goethe exams.

The GER/CEFR certificate is useful for demonstrating language proficiency but is not universally accepted for university applications. For university admissions, we recommend the TELC or Goethe certificate.

While the GER/CEFR certificate can prove your language skills, for visa applications, we recommend taking the TELC or Goethe exam, as they are widely accepted by authorities for visa processing.

TELC and Goethe exams can only be taken at internationally certified centers. These centers are authorized to administer these exams, and you must register with them.

Yes, TELC exams can be taken at our TELC-certified language school in Bonn, Germany. If you are unable to come to our school, we will help you find the nearest certified test center.

  • The TELC and Goethe certificates do not expire. However, certain institutions or authorities may require a certificate issued within the last two years, depending on their specific requirements.

  •

If you book an exam with us but are unable to come to our school, we will find the nearest TELC or Goethe Institute test center for you. We ensure that you can take your exam at a certified center as close as possible to your location.

GER-based exams are assessments aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). These exams evaluate proficiency levels from A1 to C2 in German and are recognized internationally.

Our internal German exams are designed to follow the GER standard and are offered online. They provide a GER-based certificate upon passing. TELC and Goethe exams are official certifications, recognized for visa and university applications.

Yes, our GER-based exams are available online, allowing flexibility for students to take the test from anywhere.

Upon passing, students receive a certificate based on the GER standard, which demonstrates your proficiency in German.

Yes, we offer both TELC and Goethe exams. Our school is TELC certified, and TELC exams can only be taken at our Bonn location. For Goethe exams, we will find the nearest Goethe Institute worldwide and register you for the exam there. We charge the same fees for this service, but you also have the option to register for the Goethe exam independently.

Yes, you have the option to take the exam either online or on-site, depending on your preference and availability.

Yes, you can choose your exam date based on availability. We offer flexibility in scheduling your exam, whether online or on-site.

While our GER-based exams are not official certifications like TELC or Goethe exams, the GER standard is widely recognized and understood. For official certification, we recommend TELC or Goethe exams.

Yes, you can retake the exam if needed. Each retake requires a new registration and payment.

The course is not mandatory. You can choose to take only the exam if you prefer. However, we recommend adding exam preparation during the course booking process to increase the likelihood of passing and avoid additional costs.

For visa or university applications, we recommend the TELC or Goethe exams, as these are internationally recognized and often required by authorities and educational institutions.

Each exam is 100 minutes long, designed to assess your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in the German language.

The German language exam assesses your proficiency in the German language, covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. It is available at various levels, from A1 (beginner) to C2 (advanced).

The exam is for anyone who wants to certify their German language skills. The level of the exam depends on your current proficiency in the language.

All German exams test four key skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

You should bring a valid photo ID (e.g., passport or national ID) and writing equipment.

If you miss your exam, you can reschedule it for a new date by paying a small rescheduling fee. You will not need to pay the full exam fee again.

Preparation varies depending on the level. It's recommended to review your course materials, practice with sample tests, and improve your skills in all areas of the language.

If you don't pass the exam, you can retake it at a later date after further preparation.

Results are usually available within a few weeks after the exam. You will receive a certificate indicating your proficiency level, whether you pass or fail.

The passing score varies depending on the level of the exam. Generally, you need to score at least 60-70% in each section to pass.

The certificate is valid for a lifetime and does not expire.

Studienkolleg

A Studienkolleg is a preparatory course designed to help international students whose secondary school certificates are not recognized as equivalent to the German Abitur. It equips students with the necessary subject-specific and language skills to succeed in German universities. Its required to pass through the FSP.

International students whose school-leaving certificates do not qualify them for direct admission to German universities are required to attend a Studienkolleg. This ensures they meet the academic standards necessary for higher education in Germany.

Applicants typically need a secondary school diploma recognized in their home country and a German language proficiency of at least B1 level. Additionally, passing an entrance examination is usually required.

The program generally spans two semesters (one academic year). In some cases, the duration may be extended depending on the student's progress.

Courses are tailored to specific fields of study:

  • T-Course: For technical and engineering studies.
  • W-Course: For economics and social sciences.
  • M-Course: For medical and biological studies.
  • G-Course: For humanities.
  • S-Course: For language studies.

It’s very difficult to switch tracks once you begin. You need to choose the right track from the start, based on your intended university major.

With a student visa, you are permitted to work up to 120 full days or 240 half days per year during your Studienkolleg studies.

Yes, we provide comprehensive support throughout the application process, including guidance on visa applications and necessary documentation.

No, but passing the FSP allows you to apply to universities. Admission depends on your FSP grades and university requirements.

The FSP is the final assessment exam of the Studienkolleg. Passing it qualifies you to study at a German university.

The exam consists of subject-specific tests based on your Studienkolleg track (T, M, W, G, or S-course) and a German language test.

You are usually allowed two attempts. If you fail both times, you will not be eligible for university admission in Germany through Studienkolleg.

Yes, the FSP from an accredited Studienkolleg is recognized by all German universities, but some institutions may have additional admission requirements.

The pass rate varies, but with good preparation, most students pass. The German language section is often the biggest challenge for international students.

No, the FSP exam must be taken in person at the Studienkolleg or university where you are registered.

  • Attend all Studienkolleg classes and revise regularly.
  • Use past FSP exams for practice.
  • Focus on improving your German language skills, as they play a major role in your performance.
  • Repeat German Courses if needed.
  • You can apply to universities that match your Studienkolleg track (T, M, W, G, or S-course). However, some competitive programs may have additional requirements.

  •

The FSP certificate does not expire, meaning you can use it to apply for university admission at any time in the future.
