You can book your German language exam in our Academy section, whether or not you have taken a course with us. If you have studied independently and only need to take the exam, that’s possible too!
The exam must be taken at an official certified training center.
We register you at the nearest certified exam center after discussing the location with you.
You also have the option to take the exam at our academy in Bonn, Germany.
Before joining a Studienkolleg, you need a strong foundation in German. Our language courses are designed to prepare you for academic success and meet the language requirements for university admission in Germany.
Take a free test to determine your current German level:
Based on your level, you’ll join the appropriate German course (A1–C1).
A minimum of B2 is required to enroll in our Studienkolleg. You can start with B1 but have to get certified for B2 within 2 months.
The certificate is your key to new opportunities! It is recognized worldwide and can be used for job applications, university admissions, and visa processes. Whether you want to study, work, or immigrate, your language certificate proves your proficiency and opens doors to your future.
Boost your job prospects! Employers worldwide recognize your certificate as proof of your language skills.
Many universities require a language certificate for admission. Use yours to unlock study opportunities abroad.
A recognized language certificate can support visa and residency applications in various countries. When applying for a visa, the German embassy requires proof of language proficiency, making your certificate an essential document.
Your certificate includes your name, exam level, score, and official recognition details, making it a valuable proof of your language proficiency
Goethe and Telc language certificates are valid for life. Once obtained, they serve as a permanent proof of your language proficiency.
Receive your exam results quickly and get your certificate without long waiting times. We ensure a smooth and efficient process for all candidates.
Your certificate comes with a unique verification code, allowing institutions and employers to confirm its authenticity easily.
You can choose between three exam options:
Online exam – conducted by us, with a BonnLingua certificate (CEFR/GER).
On-site exam in Germany (Bonn) – for an official TELC certificate, held at the BonnLingua location.
External Goethe exam – bookable via our website; we handle registration and inform you of the nearest date and location.
Exams must be taken in a supervised classroom. We provide nearby certified test centers, and the student selects one. We handle the registration and inform them of the exam date and time. Alternatively, students can take the exam at our certified center in Bonn, Germany, where we issue state-recognized certificates.
To increase your chances of passing on the first try, we offer mock exams under real exam conditions. This helps you get familiar with the format and feel confident on exam day.
The exam process may vary slightly by test center but generally follows this structure: Before entering the exam room, students’ IDs are thoroughly checked. They then gather in a classroom and must surrender all electronic devices. Seats are arranged with minimum spacing, and an invigilator monitors the exam. Tests are distributed, the time is tracked, and after completion, the invigilator collects the exams.
Now that you’ve chosen your course, it’s time to start learning! Our structured lessons will guide you step by step, while additional resources help you practice independently. Stay committed, practice regularly, and watch your German skills improve!
We recommend the latest textbooks and learning materials to ensure you stay up to date. You can either bring your own materials or let us purchase them for you (at an additional cost).
Review your lessons regularly for the best results! Many students form study groups and use the nearby public library for extra practice. Stay committed and make learning a habit!
